Community Involvement: A Core Ingram Micro Mobility Value
Community Involvement is a core value for both Ingram Micro Mobility as a company and for our individual team members throughout the world. We believe that our collective passion for making the communities we live and work in better places to live sets us apart from many others and we are always looking for ways to make use of our resources and abilities to better the lives of those around us
What does Community Involvement mean to our global associates?
"Community involvement is one's generous act of sharing his or her talent, skills, time, energy, finances and other resources for the improvement and greater good of others."
"Working together. Sharing ideas. Bringing change. Communication and commitment."
"Being an active participant rather than a passive bystander in creating a sense of place, belonging, trust, support, and mutual benefit in the community where I live and work."
"It is volunteering to aid or improve the community or a cause without the expectation of receiving anything in return other than the satisfaction of helping others."
"To me, community involvement has several meanings. It means making a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate; hungry, homeless, abused, uneducated, etc. It means empowering individuals to provide opportunities for growth and change, and giving more than we receive. It means making people smile! It means loving people."
"It means paying forward all the good things I have been blessed with in my personal and family life, and giving back to the less fortunate."
"Community involvement is an ongoing thing whether you are helping a neighbor when their children are sick or taking in shopping for a retiree. Every small part helps to make a better world."
"Community involvement is something that I believe is critical to society and future generations. It lays the groundwork for those that are less fortunate, and it also brings a society together regardless of race, religion, or backgrounds."
